PSEC was represented really well at Colorado Horse Park and the USDF Dressage show at CHP the same weekend. Emma and Gabe showed them (once again!!!) that event riders CAN and DO ride dressage by scoring a 72% at First level test 2 and a 69% at First 3...very impressive BUT WAIT there is more...they then went on to win their Novice division, all while participating in the Rocky Mountain Pony Club Regional rally!!! Just makes me tired typing it!!
Madeline and Ari ended up third at Open Intermediate.
Christina and Pavan finished 3rd at Preliminary and Madeline and Deanie (in their last HT together) ended up 6th at Preliminary.
At Novice: Tammy and King finished strong at 13th, Nicole and Slewth made their return to eventing and placed a respectable 8th and Rhonda and Bravo earned 2nd place... in their second Novice!!!
At BN: Nancy and Piper are carving out their being "independent together" by finishing 12th, Ava and Twizzle finished in 11th and Cora and Poncho finished in 4th (the ribbon matches the horse color!!!)
I was especially proud of all the PSEC riders who rode tactfully, in an educated and confident way, and above all were safe and finished the weekend with happy horses!!
